Working across animation, illustration and visual development, her practice is full of character, colour and curiosity. She uses a wide range of creative practices - from painting and handmade work to design, storytelling and movement - to inform her work as an animator and bring warmth, texture and personality into both still and moving images.

Since graduating from Massey University Wellington in 2022 with a Bachelor of Creative Media Production, specialising in animation, Gigi has worked across frame-by-frame animation, publishing illustration, educational resources, apparel design, murals and collaborative creative projects. Her client and studio work includes projects with Tawai Team, Mukpuddy, Huia Publishers, Massive Magazine and Green Party NZ.

Gigi is always down to get involved in some creative collaboration, sharing ideas and passion for animation with others is her favourite way to make work and bring projects to life.
